Admission to branches MBA Programme in the college is done according to the centralized admission norms of Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) set up by Government of Gujarat and Gujarat Technological University.

  • All the Government seats shall be filled on the basis of online choice filling and subsequent merit list prepared by the Admission Committee constituted under section 4 of the Act for Admissions to the First Year of MBA
  • All the Management Quota Seats shall be filled by the management of the respective institution on the basis of inter-se merit list prepared from the applications received from the candidates whose names appear in the ACPC merit list. Only those students whose names appear in the ACPC list can apply for to admission through Management Quota Seats.
  • To quality for applying for MBA, the candidate shall be cleared Common Admission Test (CMAT) for Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GCET) whichever is applicable as per the guidelines of ACPC.

Eligibility:

In order to appear in the CMAT/GCET the candidate shall have cleared Degree Examination for any recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks. Students who have appeared for the qualifying degree examination and awaiting for result can also appear for CMAT/GCET provided that he/she shall cleared the qualifying examination with required percentage of marks at the time of admission.

Admission Procedure for the Students from Other States:

  • Admission to MBA in Gujarat State for other State candidates i.e. graduation from the College located outside the Gujarat state shall be carried out by the Admission Committee on the basis of CMAT
  • For admission process, it is mandatory for the other state candidates to register online on www.gujacpc.nic.in To login for registration, they have to purchase PIN and Information Booklet like those of students for Gujarat. Candidate may purchase e-PIN through website www.gujacpc.nic.in or from the designated bank branches as notified by ACPC.
  • After registration, the candidates have to submit the print out of registration form and self-attested copies of relevant documents at nearest Help Centre. Online Registration & Seat Allotment:

  1. The Admission procedure shall eb off campus online in the following manner, namely;
  2. The Admission committee shall prepare merit list of the eligible candidates who have applied in online and after verification of the document submitted and the same will be displayed on the website of ACPC or by such other means.
  3. The schedule of Key Dates right from purchase of information booklet and PIN to deposit of tuition fee in bank after admission process shall be published by ACPC on the website of the admission committee and advertisement in leading news papers.
  4. The candidate shall be required to give order of choice of course and institutions online. Allotment of seats shall be made on the basis of merit category of the candidate and availability of seats. The allotment shall be displayed on the website of the committee. The candidates are required to obtain the print out of the allotment offer letter and bank fee receipt copies from the website.
  5. The candidate shall be required to pay such fee, as may be determined by the admission committee, at the bank.
  6. The candidate for securing his admission shall produce the allotment letter receipt of fee, all original documents and testimonials for verification to the help centre withing the specified time limit failing which the admission offered to him shall be treated as cancelled. However, such candidate has given option for the same.
  7. Where considerable number of seats falls vacant and it appears to the committee to till the vacant seats, it may conduct the on-line admission process for readjustment (reshuffling) of seats. The candidate, who opts to partake in reshuffling process, shall be considered for such admission. The candidate may either given option for up gradation of choices already given or submit new choice. If the candidate gets the admission on the basis of the up gradation or new choice, then his earlier admission shall be treated as cancelled.

Documents to be attached with the application:

  1. The candidate shall submit the self-attested copies of the following documents along with the print out of the registration for at the Help Centre, names:
    • S.S.C. Examination (Std. 10th) Mark Sheet,
    • H.S.C. Examination (Std. 12th) Mark sheet,
    • Gujarat Common Entrance Test (CMAT/GCET) Mark Sheet,
    • School Leaving Certificate or Transfer Certificate,
    • Caste Certificate for a candidate belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)
    • Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Socially and Educationally Backward Class (SEBC), issued by the authority empowered by the government in this behalf,
    • Non Creamy Layer (NCL) Certificate of the family, issued after 1st April of the relevant academic year, by the Authority empowered by the government in this behalf,
    • Certificate of Physical Disability issued by the Civil Surgeon/Medical Authority, in case of a Physical Handicapped Candidate.
    • Certificate of Ex-Serviceman, duly issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board Gujarat State or by the District Sainik Welfare Officer,
    • A copy of certificate of in-serviceman duly issued by the commanding officer of the respective unit in which they are serving,
    • A copy of income issued by the authority empowered by the Government in this behalf, if applicable, and
    • Such other certificates as the admission committee deem necessary:
  2. After getting allotment letter the candidate shall have to produce for verification, the original certificates and testimonies of the documents attached with the registration form, at Help Centres, withing time-limit as may be specified by the admission committee.
  3. The Help Centre may retain any original certificate or testimony of the documents, which it considers necessary until the admission process is completed. Such Help Centre shall return the original certificate or testimony to the students after completion of admission process.
